Consumer Counseling Northwest is approved by the Executive Office of the U.S.Trustees to provide Pre-Filing Bankruptcy Counseling and Pre-Discharge Bankruptcy Education.  The United States Trustee for Region 18 approved the application of Consumer Counseling Northwest on October 25, 2006. 

The Bankruptcy laws and process changed in October of 2005 under the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005.  For more information about the changes in the BAPCPA, please click here.
