Consumer Counseling Northwest has been "Building Better Lives through Financial Education and Counseling" since its incorporation as a Washington non-profit in 1970.

If you are a member of the media, CCNW would be glad to help you with background for your story or to provide a local angle for a national financial issue.

We have clients who are willing to share their stories with the media so that others can learn from their example. Many of our clients have fallen into the financial abyss due to unexpected occurrences such as job loss, divorce, and accidents and illnesses that weren’t covered by Health Insurance. Other clients have been victims of Check Cashing services, Identity Theft, Credit repair scams, and Foreclosure frauds to name a few.

Some of our clients have worked their way back to financial health and are wonderful examples of determination and sacrifice.
