Our next New Volunteer Orientation Programs will be held:

• August 15, Wednesday, from Noon until 1 p.m. in the King County Office


• August 29, Wednesday, from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the Pierce County Office


• September 6, Thursday, from Noon until 1 p.m. in the Thurston County Office

We’ll have snacks, refreshments and CCNW Volunteer Appreciation packs at each of the Orientations.

Training sessions for current Volunteer Educators will be available for the following classes at the following times and dates:

• Get Checking on Tuesday, October 2, from Noon until 1 p.m. at the Pierce County Office and on Wednesday, October 3, from Noon until 1 p.m. at the King County Office


• Identity Theft on Wednesday, October 17, from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. in the Thurston County Office and on Thursday, October 18, from Noon until 1 p.m. in the King County Office


• Car Buying on Tuesday, November 6, at the King County Office from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. and in the Pierce County Office on Wednesday, November 7, from Noon until 1 p.m.

Our Gala Volunteer Appreciation Event will be held on Wednesday, November 14th, at Shenanigan’s Restaurant on the Waterfront on Ruston Way in Tacoma.
