CCNW is an approved provider of Pre-Filing Bankruptcy Counseling, which is required within 180 days before filing for Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 Bankruptcy.  CCNW offers this service either by phone or in-person at one of our three Western Washington locations. 

We realize that your situation may be urgent and we will do our best to schedule your appointment as soon as possible.

At your counseling session, a Certified Counselor will review your individual situation with you and discuss your range of options.  All sessions are completely confidential and our counseling clients are always treated with the utmost respect.  You will be issued a Certificate of Completion following the successful completion of your Bankruptcy Counseling session.

You will also receive a copy of the book “More Than One Way Out – Personal Bankruptcy, Consequences and Alternatives” along with a personalized budget and action plan at your counseling session.

The fee for this service is $50 for an individual or $75 for a household.  The fee must be paid in advance of a telephone counseling appointment or at the time you receive your in-person Pre-Discharge Bankruptcy Counseling.
