Consumer Counseling Northwest (CCNW) is a nonprofit organization that was incorporated in the State of Washington in 1970. CCNW has three offices in Western Washington. In addition to in-person services, the agency helps the community through internet and telephone counseling and education.

Building Better Lives through Financial Education and Counseling is the mission of CCNW. Tens of thousands of individuals and families have been helped over the past thirty-eight years by CCNW Financial Educators and Counselors.

We provide a wide range of education and counseling services to help people overcome their financial and housing challenges, and to achieve their goals.

CCNW is a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) (www.hud.gov) approved Comprehensive Housing Counseling Agency and is also approved by the Executive Office for U.S. Trustees (www.usdoj.gov) to provide Bankruptcy Counseling and Education services.

CCNW is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Children and Family Services (www.coanet.org) and follows the highest operating standards for Financial Management and Debt Counseling agencies in the nation.

We are a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (www.nfcc.org), the oldest and most respected credit counseling member organization in the United States.
